Voice Chat
Nova Haven runs proximity voice chat: you hear players who are physically near you in the world, and they hear you, with the volume fading out over distance. You can pick how far your voice carries, choosing between roughly 8, 16, or 32 blocks (16 is the default).
What you need
Voice chat needs the Plasmo Voice mod installed on your Minecraft client (it works on Fabric and Forge). Without it you'll play completely normally, you just won't hear or send voice. Everything else on the server works the same either way.
Once installed, the mod adds its own in-game menu where you pick your microphone, set your push-to-talk key, and adjust or mute individual players.
