Nova Haven has its own custom item sets with unique textures and models that don't exist in vanilla Minecraft, obtainable from crates, events, and the store. They behave like normal gear, they just look considerably better.
The Forge
Custom sets come in tiers, and the Forge is how you move up them: put matching items of the same tier in, close the menu, and pairs merge into a single item of the next tier up. It's the main way to turn a pile of duplicate drops into something genuinely better rather than leaving them in a chest.
You'll find the Forge as an interactable block at spawn, or open it with /forge.
